I'm interested in the exploitation and human interference of the natural world.
My work is a reaction to the disillusionment of nature from a female perspective. I replicate the digitally overstimulated lives we lead, and the growing distance between humans and the natural world, blending the organic with the contrived.
My work is an exploration of human relationships to wild places, and the lasting effects we leave upon one another. My process involves many solo road trips, hikes, and meanderings. I observe the world with no particular destination in mind, capturing what sticks with me. My greatest inspiration comes while driving alone down long dirt roads, waking up outside, and the magic moments in between.
