I was born and raised in Littleton, CO and have been lucky to call Montana home for the past 10 years. After graduating with a BFA in painting from the University of Montana, my time has been split between the deserts of southern Utah and northwest Montana. I’m interested in human relationships to wild places, and the lasting effects both sides leave. My process involves many solo road trips, hikes, and meanderings, observing the world with no particular destination in mind, capturing what sticks with me. I’m curious about the ‘old west’ and what it means explore these places in modern times. My greatest inspiration comes while driving alone down endless dirt roads, old country music blaring, day dreaming of my past life as a cowgirl.
